This is the closest app I have found to TikTok and you can monetize on six different levels from what I understand from what I’ve read from the Clapper information page and I definitely think if you’re looking for someplace to go after TikTok being banned this is definitely a great option You should definitely at least give it a try and see what you think. You will have to turn off Trina feature if that’s not something you’re looking to see because they aren’t as strict as TikTok when it comes to those kinds of things, but there is an option to turn it off. You have the ability to shield yourself from seeing certain things that you might not want to see but check it out it’s worth a shot. You can get monetized right away go live right away get gifts and your lives right away. You can get gifts on your videos from what I read and people can subscribe to you you can Choosethe pricing on that as well. Just give it a shot. See if you like it.

Just started using this app today first I’d like to say that I am a little disappointed because it doesn’t have nearly as much features as other apps do, like TikTok or CapCut. I could only trim my videos. I can’t edit them in any type of way or add any special effects to them. I can’t even add any stickers to them. As far as the font, I am not a fan of because other than just changing to a different color or adding a highlighted background to it, there’s nothing else that you can do. You can’t change the font style, can’t change the format of the font, but at least I can set a duration time🤷‍♀️. I wish that the app had more editing tools to create some cooler content! I feel like it’s a little boring compared to TikTok or CapCut or other social media apps. Oh also doesn’t have nearly as much music or sounds to choose from. Oh and can’t add pictures only videos, live or radio! Another thing I’ve noticed just within the little time of me actually using it, I have been noticing a lot of glitching. Other than that, I like the app so far it feels like the community is a lot more friendlier than other apps that I’ve been on people are really supportive and quick to follow you and like your content! The community is awesome so far! I’m all about supporting one another to build and grow! Just hope yall do some kind of update to the app to add some more features to it! 🙏😅

If you’re a large influencer with millions of followers and you want to be on Clapper, the platform will automatically disable your account every time you get mass reported. Clapper staff will take days to review your disabled accounts. The app itself is enjoyable and has potential if it weren’t for the flaw that larger creators aren’t protected from false mass reporting. The first day I joined Clapper I was mass reported for being an “underage user” (when I’m age 34) it took over a day for me to access my account again. My account was restored. I then decided to make a backup account, both of my accounts were mass reported and disabled the next day. I’ve been on Clapper with 2 accounts now for 7 days and have lost access to both of my accounts due to mass reporting. Clapper does nothing to prevent it. Creators and users have a difficult my communicating with Clapper. I emailed Clapper, no response. I messaged Clapper Support on X, Instagram, and Facebook, no response. Protect creators from false mass reporting. From my perspective, I don’t want to invest my time livestreaming full time and producing content for an app that doesn’t protect me from mass reporting. I come with a lot of clout and unfortunately mass reporting is part of that number. Improve your system and quit automatically disabling accounts that are mass reported.

I downloaded a few days ago, It’s hard to get used to if you’re joining with the expectations that it will equate to tiktok. actually I personally like it much better after fixing my algorithm. there are no filters at all when recording which i have no problem with, it seems to discourage insecurities from being created and fed into in the app. you can upload videos still so this doesn’t limit you from editing your posts. the thumbs down button will take content off your foryou page, this is awesome however if you accidentally click it on a video you enjoy, say asta la vista cause you'll never see it again. personally I LOVE the fact that both spanish and english posts are in my feed. i’d like to broaden my horizons, not shrink them. but if you’re choosing one language over another, say not interested on the language you don’t want. the community is much better here but I do wish the algorithm didn’t look like an onlyfans page before the algorithm gets your likes right. it was very unpleasant to have to say not interested about 50 times before it understood i’m not interested at all in that content. group chats help to find your niche community faster.this app has some great features and hopefully can keep up with the rise in traffic on the app. people in the community are also not extremely fragile like in tiktok. you can disagree and still get along. as it should be, cause no one agrees on everything.

This app is the Wild West right now. What this means is - it’s like TikTok OF and IG without commercials (advertisers) plus you can create your own shop with your own products and then there is the DND side. It’s completely free to follow your favorite influencer. You can subscribe to your favorite influencer if you wish to do so unlike OF. You have the freedom to browse around and dig into the dark abyss if you want to. You can make money as an influencer and the cut rate isn’t too bad. I am a micro influencer (newbie) and have tried doing other social media outlets to earn a few extra dollars - this one is by far the best! I enjoy all of it so far. Be careful though, I did run into a few clankers that yellow flag you for not showing your face or talking (I do foot stuffs but not in a OMG way, just nail polishing and foot scrub products) so no face or talking and the clankers begin to flag yeah - which is stupid! Just be sure to show your face every now and again, boot the bots if you see them, and make small talk.

Fairly new to the app.. BUT!! We got some issues.. Notifications: there is ALWAYS 1 message!! No matter what you open in the messages, there is always 1 in the notifications! I’ve watched the “new to clapper” video 6 times!! It will take it away for a minute,then come right back!! But nothing new in the notifications or highlighted!! The algorithm not accepting other apps??? Well We all don’t have brand new phones with spectacular cameras, these other apps allows us to sharpen an otherwise dull clip!!!! Either implement options or limit the app to a few that can afford $1k phones.. uploading videos:when trying to uploading a clip,then decide to use another clip,then remove selected clip to pick the other?.. It won’t let you!!! You must back completely out of the app, close it!! Re-open it, then you’re able to upload the clip that you wanted!! .. music selection!! Is kinda 😒 AND since your algorithm doesn’t like other apps??? Music is limited!! Clapper needs more options!! Fix that notifications!! And allow some apps guys!! If you want us to post our other socials on the bio?? Then kinda need us to use them!!!

I’ve been a loyal user of the Clapper app for over four years, and I must say, my experience lately has been incredibly disheartening. Despite my enthusiasm for the platform and the connections I've made, I find myself feeling completely unheard and undervalued.I have reached out to tech support numerous times through direct messages, hoping to resolve an ongoing issue where I feel like a ghost on the app—my comments seem to go unnoticed, and my replies are invisible to others. It's frustrating to see so many other creators experiencing the same problem, yet it feels like we’re all shouting into a void.What makes this situation even more disappointing is that I attended the Clapper meetup in Dallas, where I had the opportunity to meet the team and other creators. I was hopeful that my support and dedication would be recognized, but it seems that my commitment has gone unnoticed. The lack of response from tech support only adds to my frustration. It’s unfortunate that a platform I’ve supported for so long seems to be undervaluing its users, especially those of us who have invested our time and energy into building a community.I really hope that Clapper can address these issues and prioritize communication with its creators. We deserve to be heard, valued, and supported, especially after everything we’ve put into this platform. Until then, I can’t help but feel disappointed and let down.
